Now that doesn't mean I'm gonna eat everything to wild extreme. I will be conscience of how much I eat. I still want to try to eat a lot of vegetables first so I can get full on them before I start in on the literal, meat & potatoes. Those are "free" calories on this plan. Then I'll go after the bird & fixin's. And, oh yes, I'm having pie w/whipped cream. Sue me.
Anyways, I'll jump back on the nutrition plan bandwagon on Fri. and I'm not gonna feel guilty 1 little bit. It's not like the foods we have are unhealthy, it's that there's always so much of it and it's all so darn good.
Wow! I can't believe it's been 1 month since I started on this nutritional journey. I've seen some real changes in my body, I'm happy to say. Still have a long way to go but I like what I'm seeing and feeling so far.
Total lb's lost so far is 12.2! I finally took my measurements. Eeeeuuuuuuuwwwwww! But they are less than when I started, which is a scary thought, but nobody's fault but my own. So nobody to work on it but myself. Here are the 1 month photo's. I'm wearing the same clothes as you can see. You may not see much difference yet yourself. I' say, the real noticeable changes will show in January.
I'm still doing the barre workout at home along with the walking and aquatic work I do with my clients. It really feels good to be taking care of myself for myself.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. Here's to being with family and/or friends. To being thankful for all you have or the potential to have and be.
I get that the Native Americans have a different take on this day than the rest of us. But what we all need is to remember to respect one another. |
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
Peace out and keep dancing.
