I did falter after a very grueling day. Not only did we work, teach, stand all day but we had a great training on a newer piece of equipment, the VIPR during our lunch hours and another 2 hours after work. I wasn't cooking after that and I had no more left-overs so I called 5 Guys and ordered a burger and fries. Bad Judi, bad, bad, bad. Oh well, I never said I was perfect. I got back on track the rest of the week. Sort of. (You may insert a winking smiley face here if you wish.) Then we did it all over again the next day with the addition of a water version before work. More on the VIPR later.
I'm liking the slow, steady pace of the weight loss happening here. It'll take a bit of time to remove what I want but the slower pace gives a better ability to keep it off in the long run.
Does that mean I don't care how long? Hell No! Of course I want it off yesterday but that ain't gonna happen is it? NO! It didn't come on overnight, although it does feel that way, so it won't come off overnight either.
I am still writing everything down that I ingest. That includes the 2 pints of beer and shot of tequila celebrating National Tequila Day Friday. Free the worm!
Getting a good idea about the properties of what I'm ingesting too. That means how much sugar, sodium, fasts, carbs, proteins, etc. The number of calories I'm eating and how many more I can eat on my goal. I discovered another app on my phone that allows me to input my activities each day too. One only does walking, running or biking so the other gives me more to input against what I ingest.
We all know I don't run unless there's a person with a weapon behind me, right? So I needed an app that gave me more options on the activity aspect.
Today, I took the day off to go to a bellydance workshop. I'm really quite excited about it. It's going to be more silent movement, meaning learning how not moving can be very exciting. Not having to hit every drum strike or moving very slowly through a movement, Purposeful silence. This takes a lot of strength and can be very visually powerful.
The dancer is called, Sister Shimmy Kate. It'll be a 3 hour workshop and I can't wait. I've seen her dance and she's beautiful.
Well, the little princess, Delilah, is looking at me so I need to take the babies for their walk. We may even be joined by the cat.
Later gators.Peace out and keep dancing
