We've been rehearsing the same dance we did for the last dance week recital. We haven't gotten the chance to all rehearse together yet and probably won't until Thursday afternoon, hours before the recital. Yikes! Oh well, can't be helped. Trying to remember the dance, adding a couple of new players as we lost a couple of the originals, injuries, exhaustion and all. It's coming together.
Still cracks me up that I'm actually doing a hip-hop style dance. So outa my comfort zone. Oh well, as long as I don't screw it up and don't injure myself I'm cool. I am a ham.
I've been taking ibuprofen twice a day for the last week, and will continue this week as well, to try and ease the pain in my feet. It does seem to help but I've been putting in a lot of time for clients. I also started subbing at another facility on Fri. mornings for 2 months.
The participants are great. I really enjoy teaching them. They engage, they work as best they can, they listen for the most part and they're grateful. Sorry, but it's so difficult to teach a class where everyone is yakking away, has no sense of humor, does the least they can do, constantly asks " What are we doing?" and treat you like you have no knowledge of any kind. Ugh!
I made a wonderful batch of Coconut Curry Chicken last week and a batch of shrimp salad. I was a bit tired of grilled chicken and (believe it or not) steak. You know how strange some cravings can be? Well, these were mine and I went with it. Last nights' dinner was shrimp in avocado. Delicious!
The coconut curry chicken recipe will be on my recipe page for ya. So easy, maybe a few minutes of chopping and thats it. Give it a try, if you like curry, you'll love this. Love the Crock Pot!
Peace out people and ....keep dancing.
