It's been a crazy couple of weeks again for me. No day off due to client, work extra class at JCC, a wedding, working before wedding since much of the wedding party needed the day off and we were short and Thanksgiving. Now "Dance Week" begins at work. Boom, boom, boom. again, I'm whipped.
Now we've just had Thanksgiving. Yes, I fell into my annual food coma. I love all of the food. It was my great-nieces' 1st thanksgiving. It didn't go as planned for my niece but I reminded her that my great-niece is the 1 person who won't remember any of it. So no need to worry.
I love thanksgiving. It's all about being grateful for what you have, where you are and who you're with. Me??? I'm grateful for my family, having work I love, friends near and far and that I have very little work to do the day after.
I'm still fighting the weight issue although I've stopped writing in the food journal. I think I have a good idea of what and how much now and I eat as though I am still writing. I went out with my brother B. and cousin J. who basically did a driveby and took home 1/2 of what I ordered. well, except for the salad, I are all of that at the restaurant. Yay for me!
I've added a 3rd set to my strength workouts and though I did feel my pecs a little but, it was my triceps that killed me for 3 days. But that was only the after the 1st day, workouts since haven't been quite so painful.
Due to all of these events happening one after the other, I wasn't able to choreograph for the recital as planned but I'll be doing a solo belly dance accompanied by a live drummer. A first for me and the show. Wish me luck folks.
