I noticed that I've been in the mood to cook things again, like crazy. Thats a good thing, my friends. I made some sun-dried tomato pesto and fettuccine noodles. Yes, I even made the noodles. It's not hard but it is time consuming. The pesto was fairly easy too. I didn't dry the tomatoes myself but I made it myself. Yum! Yup, on my way to sis' home with those and a couple of marinaded steaks to cook for dinner.
I will post the recipe for the pesto for you on the recipe page when I get a chance. I used to do this a lot but got so caught up in work, work, work that all of this fell by the wayside. The funny thing is, I'm busier than ever right now between, work, clients and subbing but I really wanted this. So, there you have it.
I checked my weight and have lost another 1.5#'s as of last Wed.. Yah-hoo! Slow but sure, I'm happy. Thats all that matters. Therefore, my total loss so far...wait for it...drum roll please...7.5#'s.
It's funny though, it's the little things you begin to notice about yourself that are exciting. Things like my ring easily sliding off & on, the ties on my clothes being longer than before, pockets closing up, actually getting into some clothes again and being comfortable. The numbers are secondary. So, please, don't keep getting on the scale each and every day. That'll make you crazy. Once a week is more than enough. When you do get on the scale, try to do it at the same time and same day. You'll feel much better and probably see better results.
Stay healthy and keep dancin'.
